Aurum Ruby Red - Vintage 2020

Aurum Ruby is our take on a classic red wine - a ruby red wine made from honey and red fruits, also traditionally called a melomel. Byron Bay spring honey is co-fermented with premium fruit - blackcurrant, raspberry, wild blueberry and sour cherry - and aged on skins.

A bright translucent ruby red in the glass, the nose is expressive with an exuberant aroma of zingy red berries and juicy sour cherries. Complex, fruity, fresh yet dry, with a lingering honey final note that pleasantly coats the palate, reminiscent of a French Gamay.

Aged for an extended period of time in French oak barrels, this honey wine is flamboyant in its youth but will really perform in the next few years and can be aged for years to come.

100% pure Byron Bay honey with sour cherry, blackcurrant, raspberry and wild blueberry. No grapes.
