Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the AURUM online store. By placing an order or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

AURUM is operated by Aurum Beverage Co Pty Ltd (ABN 73 642 387 684) and AURUM Mead Co. partnership (ABN 30 626 898 952) both registered in New South Wales, Australia (hereafter referred to as 'AURUM'). Our premium Manuka honey wines and Manuka Spritz beverages and Manuka honeys are produced and sold under the AURUM brand.

The following terms apply to any orders and purchases you make from this website.

You must not order or purchase alcoholic goods from us:

• if you are aged under 18;
• for re-sale purposes (all goods must be purchased for personal use) unless you identify yourself as a licensed wholesale customer; or
• which are outside any order limits or restrictions which we may apply to the products on this site
• you are located in a jurisdiction where it is unlawful to purchase alcohol online.

 

AURUM supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol. 

 

No Alcohol can be sold or supplied to anyone under 18. It’s against the law. Your contract of sale will be with Aurum Mead Co. ABN 30626898952 under NSW liquor licence no. LIQP770018106.  You must be over the age of 18 years to purchase, order and/or receive alcohol from AURUM.

AURUM reserves the right to request proof of age and to cancel any order where age verification cannot be completed. It is an offence to purchase or supply alcohol to a minor. 

Minors may purchase our non-alcoholic range and Manuka honeys.

All prices on our website quoted are Australian Dollars. All stock subject to availability and increases in government charges and wholesale prices.

Liquor Acts by State:

NSW
New South Wales Liquor Act 2007. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.

Victoria
Victoria Liquor Control Reform Act 1998: It is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $7,000), for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (Penalty exceeds $600).
Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises. 

South Australia 
Liquor Licensing Act 1997, Section 113. Liquor must NOT be supplied to persons under 18.

Queensland
Under the Liquor Act 1992, it is an offence to supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years.

Western Australia
Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.

All orders placed through our Shopify store constitute an offer to purchase goods. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. An order is accepted when we issue an order confirmation email and process payment.

We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or any other reason. In such cases, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. Wine Equalisation Tax (WET) is included in the price of alcoholic products.  Honey is exempt from GST.

Prices are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at the time of your order will be the price charged.

We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments or other authorised payment gateways. AURUM does not store your full card details.

Note: As of 1 October 2026, payment surcharges are prohibited in Australia under Reserve Bank of Australia regulations. AURUM does not apply surcharges to any payment method.

We ship to addresses within Australia. Alcohol cannot be delivered to a PO Box, locked bag, or parcel locker. A signature may be required upon delivery. If no one is available to sign, the carrier will leave a calling card.

Estimated delivery times are indicative only and AURUM is not liable for delays caused by the carrier or circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

We take pride in the quality of our products. If you receive a product that is damaged, faulty, or incorrectly supplied, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at orders@aurum.vin with a description and photo of the issue.  We may ask you to send the products back in line with our returns policy.

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair for goods that fail to meet consumer guarantees.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a product fault.

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, trade marks, label designs, and brand assets, is the property of Aurum Beverage Co Pty Ltd or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

AURUM is a trade mark of Aurum Beverage Co Pty Ltd. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from this website without our prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AURUM's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service and is set out in full in Part B of this document. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our website or placement of an order after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
